A Queensland schoolgirl had a mass growing so big inside her doctors thought she might have been pregnant.
When little Cherish-Rose Lavelle started quickly losing weight her mum Louise knew something was wrong.
After taking the the 11-year-old to the doctor, it wasn't long before she was transferred to hospital in Hervey Bay and sent straight to Brisbane by plane.
Doctors discovered a horrifying 10kg tumour on her ovaries.
The aggressive germ-cell cancer was causing Cherish-Rove a lot of pain and Ms Lavelle noticed her daughter's normally bubbly personality was very different over two months.
Rare for a girl of Cherish-Rose's age, the cancer will set her back from starting Year 6 this month.
'This morning she was bright and smiling but right now she is very down,' Ms Lavelle told the Daily Mail Australia.
'She's not feeling great.'
Now Ms Lavelle must sell her op-shop business so she can spend months looking after her daughter in hospital.

'It’s going to be a long journey,' she said.
Ms Lavelle initially thought her daughter was suffering an eating disorder before she discovered something more sinister was at play.
'This is something I want parents to be aware of as I thought she was suffering an eating disorder from being bullied for being overweight,' she said.

Cherish-Rose will be in hospital for months having chemo and surgery to get rid of the 10kg mass
'She suddenly lost 14-15kg and I started to demand food into her because I was frightened and then when the pain started in her belly and back I was clueless.
'When I was told she had cancer I couldn’t stop crying, it broke my heart.
'Now I've been told that it is curable I am so relieved. Now my life has changed nothing else matters at all.'
Chemo will shrink the tumour quickly so Cherish-Rose can go into surgery to have it removed.
It is another blow for Ms Lavelle who discovered the manager in her shop was allegedly abusing her role through fraud, having to let her and others go and leaving her short staffed as this stressful time.
Heartfelt messages have been shared on social media wishing the inspirational young girl well.

अक्सर लोग पुजारी को पंडितजी या पुरोहित को आचार्य भी कह देते हैं और सुनने वाले भी उन्हें सही ज्ञान नहीं दे पाता है। यह विशेष पदों के नाम हैं जिनका किसी जाति विशेष से कोई संबंध नहीं। आओ हम जानते हैं कि उक्त शब्दों का सही अर्थ क्या है ताकि आगे से हम किसी पुजारी को पंडित न कहें।

गुरु :गु का अर्थ अंधकार और रु का अर्थ प्रकाश। अर्थात जो व्यक्ति आपको अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर ले जाए वह गुरु होता है। गुरु का अर्थ अंधकार का नाश करने वाला। अध्यात्मशास्त्र अथवा धार्मिक विषयों पर प्रवचन देने वाले व्यक्तियों में और गुरु में बहुत अंतर होता है। गुरु आत्म विकास और परमात्मा की बात करता है। प्रत्येक गुरु संत होते ही हैं; परंतु प्रत्येक संत का गुरु होना आवश्यक नहीं है। केवल कुछ संतों में ही गुरु बनने की पात्रता होती है। गुरु का अर्थ ब्रह्म ज्ञान का मार्गदर्शक।

 

आचार्य :आचार्य उसे कहते हैं जिसे वेदों और शास्त्रों का ज्ञान हो और जो गुरुकुल में ‍विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षा देने का कार्य करता हो। आचार्य का अर्थ यह कि जो आचार, नियमों और सिद्धातों आदि का अच्छा ज्ञाता हो और दूसरों को उसकी शिक्षा देता हो। वह जो कर्मकाण्ड का अच्छा ज्ञाता हो और यज्ञों आदि में मुख्य पुरोहित का काम करता हो उसे भी आचार्य कहा जाता था। आजकल आचार्य किसी महाविद्यालय के प्रधान अधिकारी और अध्यापक को कहा जाता है।

 

पुरोहित :पुरोहित दो शब्दों से बना है:- 'पर' तथा 'हित', अर्थात ऐसा व्यक्ति जो दुसरो के कल्याण की चिंता करे। प्राचीन काल में आश्रम प्रमुख को पुरोहित कहते थे जहां शिक्षा दी जाती थी। हालांकि यज्ञ कर्म करने वाले मुख्‍य व्यक्ति को भी पुरोहित कहा जाता था। यह पुरोहित सभी तरह के संस्कार कराने के लिए भी नियुक्त होता है। प्रचीनकाल में किसी राजघराने से भी पुरोहित संबंधित होते थे। अर्थात राज दरबार में पुरोहित नियुक्त होते थे, जो धर्म-कर्म का कार्य देखने के साथ ही सलाहकार समीति में शामिल  रहते थे।

 

पुजारी :पूजा और पाठ से संबंधित इस शब्द का अर्थ स्वत: ही प्रकाट होता है। अर्थात जो मंदिर या अन्य किसी स्थान पर पूजा पाठ करता हो वह पुजारी। किसी देवी-देवता की मूर्ति या प्रतिमा की पूजा करने वाले व्यक्ति को पुजारी कहा जाता है। 

 

पंडित :पंडः का अर्थ होता है विद्वता। किसी विशेष ज्ञान में पारंगत होने को ही पांडित्य कहते हैं। पंडित का अर्थ होता है किसी ज्ञान विशेष में दश या कुशल। इसे विद्वान या निपुण भी कह सकते हैं। किसी विशेष विद्या का ज्ञान रखने वाला ही पंडित होता है। प्राचीन भारत में, वेद शास्त्रों आदि के बहुत बड़े ज्ञाता को पंडित कहा जाता था। इस पंडित को ही पाण्डेय, पाण्डे, पण्ड्या कहते हैं। आजकल यह नाम ब्रह्मणों का उपनाम भी बन गया है। कश्मीर के ब्राह्मणों को तो कश्मीरी पंडितों के नाम से ही जाना जाता है। पंडित की पत्नी को देशी भाषा में पंडिताइन कहने का चलन है।

 

ब्राह्मण :ब्राह्मण शब्द ब्रह्म से बना है। जो ब्रह्म (ईश्वर) को छोड़कर अन्य किसी को नहीं पूजता, वह ब्राह्मण कहा गया है। जो पुरोहिताई करके अपनी जीविका चलाता है, वह ब्राह्मण नहीं, याचक है। जो ज्योतिषी या नक्षत्र विद्या से अपनी जीविका चलाता है वह ब्राह्मण नहीं, ज्योतिषी है। पंडित तो किसी विषय के विशेषज्ञ को कहते हैं और जो कथा बांचता है वह ब्राह्मण नहीं कथावाचक है। इस तरह वेद और ब्रह्म को छोड़कर जो कुछ भी कर्म करता है वह ब्राह्मण नहीं है। जिसके मुख से ब्रह्म शब्द का उच्चारण नहीं होता रहता, वह ब्राह्मण नहीं।

 

स्मृति पुराणों में ब्राह्मण के 8 भेदों का वर्णन मिलता है- मात्र, ब्राह्मण, श्रोत्रिय, अनुचान, भ्रूण, ऋषिकल्प, ऋषि और मुनि। 8 प्रकार के ब्राह्मण श्रुति में पहले बताए गए हैं। इसके अलावा वंश, विद्या और सदाचार से ऊंचे उठे हुए ब्राह्मण ‘त्रिशुक्ल’ कहलाते हैं। ब्राह्मण को धर्मज्ञ विप्र और द्विज भी कहा जाता है जिसका किसी जाति या समाज से कोई संबंध नहीं।

Be warned if you use Chinese apps such as Weibo, WeChat, others: Home Ministry

The advisory comes in the wake of inputs received by the Union Home Ministry from agencies like the R&AW and NTRO.

A country wide advisory has been sent to all field formations of the Army and paramilitary forces  warning of a cyber attack through mobile phones.

Officials have been told to ensure that officers and men under their control delete certain apps created by Chinese companies or having Chinese links from their mobile phones, whether official or personal.  

The advisory comes in the wake of inputs received by the Union Home Ministry from agencies like the R&AW and NTRO.

The advisory says, "As per reliable inputs, a number of android/IOS apps developed by Chinese developers or having Chinese links are reportedly either spyware or other malicious ware. Use of these apps by our force personnel can be detrimental to data security having implications on the force and national security."

In fact, all personnel have been advised to immediately uninstall the app and format their cellphones. The apps dubbed as Chinese spyware includes TrueCaller, Weibo, WeChat, UC News, UC Browser and Baidu Maps.

It isn't immediately clear as to whether any agency has reported any case of espionage through the cyber route in recent days or even if these malware have compromised systems.

But this isn't the first time that red flags have been raised over defence forces being targeted by Chinese hackers. India faced its biggest cyber attack in 2012 when ITBP was compromised.

The attack was tracked to North Korea. ITBP had been repeatedly warned of an impending cyber attack by NTRO and the matter was even taken up at the level f the PMO.

ITBP's positions, troop movement, bunkers and other critical information was reportedly leaked at that time. This time too, cyber security agencies have warned that ITBP is particularly vulnerable.

A phishing attack, also in 2012, had compromised the SPG. Then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's travel plans to Bangkok in June had been leaked.

"The advanced security liaison had been compromised and the NTRO had pointed this out to the SPG in writing. The security breach which is considered extremely serious was hushed up because the SPG insisted they have been using stand alone or air gapped computers which are not connected to the internet," say NTRO sources.

The Army Design Bureau had last year red flagged Chinese circuitry in military hardware that could take military networks down. Instructions were sent out last year too advising against the use of Chinese origin smartphones.

IN 2010, the Union Home Ministry had mulled whether Chinese companies like Huawei and ZTE could be banned in India. Amongst the many gadgets supplied by these firms, the Home Ministry had flagged modems as being particularly vulnerable.

आज मन में एक ही बात आ रही है कि इंसान को जब यह लगने लगे कि उसने अपने भविष्य के लिए पर्याप्त कमाई कर ली है, तो उसे अपने खुद के लिए समय निकाल लेना चाहिए। और पैसा कमाने की चाहत ना रखते हुए, खुद की खुशी के लिए जीना शुरू कर देना चाहिए।

अपनी कोई पुरानी चाहत पूरी करनी चाहिए। बचपन का कोई अधूरा शौक, जवानी की कोई ख्वाहिश या फिर कुछ भी ऐसा जो दिल को तसल्ली दे सके। किसी ऐसे के साथ वक्त बिताना चाहिए जिसे आप खुशी दे सकें और बदल में उससे भी वही हासिल कर सकें। क्योंकि जो पैसा सारी जिंदगी मैंने कमाया उसे मैं साथ लेकर नहीं जा सकता। अगर मैं कुछ लेकर जा सकता हूं तो वे हैं यादें। ये यादें ही तो हमारी ‘अमीरी’ होती है, जिसके सहारे हम सुकून की मौत पा सकते हैं। क्योंकि ये यादें और उनसे जुड़ा प्यार ही एकमात्र ऐसी चीज है जो मीलों की सफर तय करके आपके साथ जा सकती हैं। आप जहां चाहे इसे लेकर जा सकते हैं। जितनी ऊंचाई पर चाहें ये आपका साथ दे सकती हैं। क्योंकि इन पर केवल आपका हक़ है।

जीवन के इस मोड़ पर आकर मैं बहुत कुछ महसूस कर सकता हूं। जीवन में अगर कोई सबसे महंगी वस्तु है, तो वह शायद ‘डेथ बेड’ ही है। क्योंकि आप पैसा फेंककर किसी को अपनी गाड़ी का ड्राइवर बना सकते हैं। जितने मर्जी नौकर-चाकर अपनी सेवा के लिए लगा सकते हैं। लेकिन इस डेथ बेड़ पर आने के बाद कोई दिल से आपको प्यार करे, आपकी सेवा करे, यह चीज आप पैसे से नहीं खरीद सकते।

आज मैं यह कह सकता हूं कि हम जीवन के किसी भी मोड़ पर क्यों ना हों, उसे अंत तक खूबसूरत बनाने के लिए हमें लोगों का सहारा चाहिए। पैसा हमें सब कुछ नहीं दे सकता।

गूगल का नाम सुनते ही आपके मन में आता है इंटरनेट और सर्च इंजन. लेकिन ऐसा नहीं है, गूगल सिर्फ एक सर्च इंजन नहीं है, बल्कि इससे कहीं ज्यादा है. गूगल ने गुरूवार को भारत में स्कॉलरशिप प्रोग्राम की शुरुआत की है. इसके लिए गूगल ने प्लूरलसाइट और उडासिटी के साथ साझेदारी की है. कंपनी ने इस स्कॉलरशिप प्रोग्राम के तहत भारत में 130 हजार डेवेलपर और छात्रों को स्किल ट्रेनिंग देने का टार्गेट रखा है. गूगल ने इनमें से 100 हजार स्कॉलरशिप प्लूरलसाइट टेक्नॉलॉजी लर्निंग कर्रिकुलम पर स्कॉलरशिप देने का ऐलान किया है, जबकि 30 हजार स्कॉलरशिप उडासिटी पर दिया जाएगा.

गौरतलब है कि गूगल के साझेदारी के साथ चलाए जा रहे इन ऑनलाइन कोर्स को कोई भी ज्वाइन कर सकता है और इसे ज्वाइन करने के लिए आपको पैसे नहीं देने होते हैं.

गूगल और इन दोनों कंपनियों ने आज दिल्ली में आयोजित एक इवेंट में कहा है कि इन कोर्स को सीखने के लिए आप घर बैठे ही योग्य हैं. इन कोर्स में मोबाइल और वेब डेवेलपमेंट, मशीन लर्निंग, आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, वर्चुअल रियलिटी और क्लाउड प्लेटफॉर्म शामिल हैं. गूगल ने कहा है कि इन लर्निंग प्रोग्राम से भारतीय छात्रों को स्किल मिलेगा और इससे वो जॉब के लिए भी योग्य होंगे.

गूगल डेवेलपर प्रोडक्ट्स ग्रुप और स्किलिंग लीड इंडिया हेड विलियल फ्लोरेंस ने कहा है, ‘पिछले एक साल से हम अलग अलग प्रोग्राम और पहल के जरिए भारत के पांच लाख छात्रों और डेवेलपर्स के साथ काम कर रहे हैं. हम भारत में स्किलिंग इनिशिएटिव का ऐलान कर रहे हैं और 2 लाख 10 हजार छात्रों ने गूगल द्वारा डेवेलप किए गए कोर्स को उडासिटी के जरिए पूरा किया है. इस मोमेंटम को बनाते हुए यह स्कॉलर्शिप प्रोग्राम छात्रों और डेवेलपर्स को उन स्किल को पाने में मदद करेगा जो उन्हें सफल होने के लिए चाहिए’

उडासिटी इंडिया के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर इशान गुप्ता ने कहा है, ‘गूगल के साथ हमारी साझेदारी भारत में लोगों को जॉब करने के लिए तैयार करने में एक बड़ा कदम है. स्कॉलर्शिप प्रोग्राम के तहत छात्र वेब और मोबाइल डेवेलपमेंट पढ़ सकते हैं. कोर्स का पहला फेस फ्री है. टॉप -1000 छात्रों को को एक्स्ट्रा स्कॉलर्शिप दी जाएगी.’
