Mazagon Dock Limited has recently issued a notification for 1040 govt vacancies. The Mazagon Dock Limited has opened new online applications for filling various vacancies under Technical Staff and Operatives. Applications are invited from the eligible citizens of India for the positions of Skilled and Semi-Skilled grades in various disciplines. The released vacancies in the
advertisement are 1040. These total vacancies are divided into trade/discipline wise and category wise. The distributed vacancy list is detailed in the Mazagon Dock Limited recruitment 2017 notification page. The MDL online application of these 1040 Skilled and Semi-Skilled jobs will be available from 9th February 2017 to 22nd February 2017 on the Mazagon Dock Limited official web page that is www.mazdock.com.

Education Qualification:
- For applying Jr Draughtsman post, the applicants need to be passed in SSC or equivalent and in additional to this the applicants also need to be qualified or possess NAC certificate in Draughtsmen trade.
- For applying Jr Planner Estimator (Mechanical) post, the job hunters have to be passed in SSC or HSC including with three years of Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Marine Engineering with 55% of aggregate.
- For applying Jr Planner Estimator (Electrical/ Electronics) post, the job seekers have to be passed in SSC or HSC in addition with three years of Diploma or Degree in Electrical/ Marine Engineering with 55% of aggregate.
- For applying Electronic Mechanic post, the job aspirants has to be passed in SSC and need to possess NAC certificate in Electrician Trade
- For applying Painter post, the job seekers has to be passed in VIII standard and need to possess NAC certificate in Painter Trade
- For applying Machinist post, the job seekers has to be passed in SSC or equivalent standard and need to possess NAC certificate in Machinist Trade

Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years.
- Maximum: 33 years.
Selection Process:- For Junior Draughtsman / Junior Planner Estimator / Junior QC Inspector / Store Keeper Posts -> Written Test Only.
- For the other posts -> Written Test will be conducted followed by Trade Test. The candidates qualifying written test will be called for Trade Test.
Application Fee: Processing Fees of ? 100/- (Non-Refundable) needs to be deposited at any nearest branch of State Bank of India (SBI) by using challan form only. The candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD & Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the Processing Fee. The candidate should fill up all the three parts (Banks copy, MDL Copy & Candidates copy) of the challan. The Deposit cash of ? 140/- (Including Bank charges of ? 40/-) at the nearest SBI branch. The Bank shall retain its copy (Bank's copy) and return two parts(MDL's copy and Candidate's copy) of the Challan to the candidate.
Pay Scale:
Applicants will be given a stipend of Rs.5000/- during the training period.
After the training period candidates selected under Skilled Grade I posts will be offered basic pay of Rs.7500 per month for the 1st year. In the 2nd second year, appointed candidates will receive Rs.7575/-.
For Semi Skilled Grade II posts, applicants will receive Rs.7250/- for the first year and Rs.7323/- for second years.
Candidates engaged under Skilled grade III posts, Rs.6000 will be offered for the 1st year and Rs.6060 for the second year.
